Alejandra, an architect by training, has seamlessly transitioned into a prolific artist whose work spans various mediums including painting, fresco, linocut, installations, and illustrations. With a career that initially focused on infrastructure projects, she has since dedicated herself to celebrating the cultural heritage of New Caledonia for over fifteen years.

Notably, Alejandra has contributed significantly to the artistic landscape of New Caledonia, including her involvement in the Médipôle project, where her creations adorn spaces such as the Mother-Child Pole, the radiotherapy center, and the Pain Unit.

 
 
 
 
 

In 2021, Alejandra co-founded "Les lignes rouges," a collective of four local artists, aimed at fostering feminist and socially engaged dialogue. Their collaborative efforts culminated in an exhibition at Château Hagen, with the exhibition catalogue available at the Art Library of Nouméa.

Her illustrative talents have graced publications by De Bas En Haut editions, such as "Poindi," "The Turtle Dove and the Crow," "Local Color Cuisine" with chef David Cano, and the "ABC of Endemics of New Caledonia" by Nicolas Rinck

 


Alejandra's latest endeavor includes co-authoring the album "CHEPEC, Discovering the Mochicas, People of Ancient Peru," published by the Museum of the Americas in Auch, alongside Peggy Bonnet Vergara.

 
 

As a dynamic and influential presence in the New Caledonian cultural scene, Alejandra infuses her work with personal sensitivity, historical depth, and a distinctive artistic signature.
